About Me

I’m a mom, wife, and professional “pack-master” of two adventurous kids. Our family’s story began in the Rocky Mountains, but life had other plans. One month after our daughter was born, my husband’s job took us to Indonesia, just as he was recovering from a dirt bike crash that left him temporarily in a wheelchair. Since then, we’ve lived in multiple countries, had our son in Singapore, and traveled to 17 countries and Bermuda with our kids. We’ve moved four more times in eight years, and along the way, we’ve learned the highs, lows, and hilarious mishaps of traveling as a family. Through Kilometers With Kids, I share our experiences, tips, and honest lessons to help other families reduce stress, embrace adventure, and make travel a meaningful part of their lives. Whether you’re taking your first trip with kids or planning your hundredth, I hope our stories inspire you to explore the world together, messiness, meltdowns, and all.
